Trying a math formula or two:
$$
( p_{\text{old}} = \frac{30}{12} = 2.50) \ \ 
( p_{\text{new}} = \frac{70}{12} \approx 5.83) \ \   
( p_{\text{current}} = \frac{200}{8} = 25.00) 
$$
or inline:
$p_{\text{old}} = \frac{30}{12} = 2.50$
