Writing in Public

I'm Daniel Dosen. There are a few of us - I'm originally from Chicago, now in Seattle.

This site is where I publish my working notes. The idea comes from How to Take Smart Notes and David Perell's concept of "writing in public" - you're more motivated to organize your thinking when you share it.

If writing is the medium of research, there's no reason not to work as if nothing else counts.

I work in operational intelligence - digitizing business processes and piping data into analytics. These notes are my way of thinking out loud. Inspired by Andy Matuschak's approach, just less polished.
